Nominations include $2.00 trophy levy, $2.50 first aid levy, $1.10 cattle reserve fund levy & $2.65 WA zone levy.

​RULES:​​

​​

  1. All competitors must be ABCRA members to ride. 

  2. Stallions must be collared and yarded. 

  3. ​Dogs are allowed, but must be restrained at all times

  4. Riders under the age of 18 must wear helmets whilst mounted on a horse. Encouragement riders must wear a helmet whilst riding. Helmets can save lives.

  5. Competitors ride at their own risk.

  6. Judges' decision is final

  7. The committee reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel any event should it be deemed advisable. The committee reserves the right to refuse any nomination for any event; all horse or rider changes must be made prior to the commencement of the event and can be made with Bryden. 

  8. Any competitor wishing to make a complaint must do so in writing within one hour of the incident taking place and pay a fee of $20. If the complaint is dismissed by the committee the fee is forfeited. 

  9. Failure to notify of scratching 7 days prior to event commencement will forfeit the entire entry fee. Entry fee includes $1.50 trophy levy, $2.50 first aid levy, $1.10 cattle reserve fund levy and $1 WA zone levy. 

  10. Committee is not registered for GST. All prize money inclusive of GST where applicable. Committee reserves the right to refuse any nomination for any event. Committee payouts on the day.

Challenge patterns will uploaded here and on the Broome Rodeo Facebook page closer to the event.

Australian Stockmans Challenge Association Rules:

  • No nose bands permitted

  • Loose ring snaffle bit only permitted

  • Ties and scarfs to be worn

  • Encouragement and junior riders MUST wear a helmet at all times

  • No caps or short sleeve shirts permitted in the arena

​​​CAMPING:

​​

  • Camping is only permitted for competitors for the duration of the Broome Campdraft & Rodeo. 

  • Dogs are allowed but must be restrained at all times.

  • Water cartage will be supplied for anyone who cannot reach a water point. Please bring tanks and troughs and the truck will fill them at your camp.

  • A shower block will be available in the eastern camping area. 

  • Please put all rubbish in the bins and skips supplied. 

  • No fires permitted!

  • Please leave roadways clear.
